Liz’s remarkable career spans more than three decades and showcases unwavering dedication to regulatory excellence, patient safety, and the advancement of pharmaceutical quality. Her leadership, integrity, and passion have influenced professionals and organisations across the NHS, MHRA, and global industry.

NHS Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance

Liz began her career with 12 years working in NHS Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, where she strengthened GMP compliance, enhanced the safety of manufactured and prepared medicines, contributed to national quality guidelines, and mentored pharmacists and technicians to uphold the highest standards.

MHRA Regulatory GMP Inspectorate

Liz dedicated 19 years to the MHRA as a Regulatory GMP Inspector, ultimately managing the UK’s GMP inspection programme. Her work shaped EU and PIC/S regulatory frameworks, informed key legislative updates, and supported improvements in quality systems across both industry and healthcare settings. She conducted inspections worldwide and provided essential guidance that raised GMP standards internationally.

Consultancy, Mentorship, and Industry Leadership

Alongside her regulatory leadership, Liz has spent over 22 years in consultancy. She has mentored countless Qualified Persons, delivered extensive audits, co‑created the world’s first GMP Lead Auditor accreditation, and co‑founded EPiC, a consultancy built on expertise, ethics, passion, and patient‑centred values. Her influence continues to shape best practice across the sector.
