Ewan is an accomplished quality professional with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including more than a decade as a GMDP Inspector with the UK’s MHRA, where he most recently served as Lead Senior Inspector.
His recognised areas of expertise include:

✅ Unlicensed medicines, herbal products, and cannabis-based products for medicinal use (CBPMs)

Ewan is widely respected for his deep regulatory insight, strategic leadership, and commitment to compliance excellence.
He’s conducted over 350 regulatory inspections including leading multi-disciplinary teams and EMA inspections, as well as joint inspections with WHO and USFDA. He is also a renowned presenter for MHRA at conferences and regulatory training events across the UK, Europe, India, and China.
